Snow Clearing

City of Mississauga Snow Clearing webpage: "When 5 cm or more of snow falls, we clear City-owned roads, sidewalks, trails, bus stops, bike lanes and crossings to make them safe to use.  For less than 5 cm of snow, roads, sidewalks, bus stops and trails are salted, but not plowed."

Clear those Snowy Bike Lanes! Blog by lawyer Dave Shellnutt (December 2021) regarding the Supreme Court of Canada ruling on municipal duties as it relates to snow clearing.

Street Sweeping

City of Mississauga Spring cleanup and street sweeping webpage: "Around mid-April the City will begin street sweeping to clear debris left behind from winter.  We will clean curb-faced sidewalks, traffic islands, hard-surfaced boulevards, curb-side gutters, roads and bike lanes.... From June to the end of October, the City continues to sweep the streets."
